Autumn is approaching and temperature is dropping fast What an awesome sight, the trees are transforming, shattering the leaves from its branches, We were out in the woods one weekend, venturing with our good friend - J and his sister - mushrooming.

Back home picking up mushrooms in the wild and eating them is a suicide missions
Not many gurus around to tell u which mushrooms are edible.

J and Sis gave us some useful tips to begin - :)

Dog eat Dog

Dogs are men's best frens, yep i have to agree to that - cute, smart , playful, faithful , obedient and cuddling at the same time. Honestly i adore them but not to keep them as pet.

Lately there was a Dog show in town and i was asked by my wify to bring the little one to see them. I refused at first as I'm afraid of the noise , the smell, the flying particles identify as furs and dungs. Given 2nd thoughts , Dogs in Europe are well taken care off and friendly.. unlike those back home waiting to hump and bite you....oh man !! reminding myself walking to school in the early morning along the streets avoiding those son of bitches heheh

It was a pleasant day, many passionate dogs lover brought their pride to the shows to be judge. Many kind of dogs.. petty to big.,, hairy to bald,, pretty to ugly one.. . It was nice to see so many kind of breeds which u don't normally see them. I was amazed that the dogs in arena were very well behaved, no howling, no running around , no fighting and best of all no humping around.

Germany - Hieldelberg

The sky was dark when we arrived, the sun made an early exit as early as 4pm during winter season. The shadows of street lights hovering the streets as we walked around the city. We took some photos in the dark with an amateur camera and it was difficult as both hands were shaking due to the cold winter air. Nevertherless we managed to capture the beautiful castle

Hieldelberg Castle is also called the red walled castle.

Heidelberg is renowned for its oldest university in Europe, biggest wine barrel, was the center of Romanticism in Germany and headquarter for American forces in Europe during WW2 .Like all beautiful city ,there will be a castle sitting on a hill overlooking the river and old town.

The Ritter House - survived the destruction of the city

The Church of the Holy Spirit
View of the castle from Town Square
The view from the Castle was spectacular and the nature that surrounds it added the touch, we even took a ride to the submit, which is 550 m from sea level. The land was covered with thick snows, colder than lower ground ,the view was in a different level- more foggy but still cun!!

Villas along the river banks

When come to wine , the monarchy was so excited back then , that they built the biggest barrel to keep the wine which wine growers had to pay their share of taxes by delivering wine to the castle. The barrel was built in 1751 from 130 oak Tress. The vat is standing at 7 meter high and 8,5 meter across and capacity up to 228 000 litters . ( the biggest in the world)

My head is just next to the tap

Pictures below were taken from the top Submit

Majestic View from the top

Baby Gal trying to balance on a sledge

and back to the town , there is a bridge across the river surprisingly with a statue standing in front carrying a mirror for passers to look at, is called the Bridge Monkey,
Quoted from the official website Tourism of Heidelberg
" The legend surrounding this curious statue tells us that it symbolizes the fact that neither the city-dwellers nor the people who lived outside the city were better than the other, and that they should look over their shoulder as they cross the bridge to remember this."
And after crossing the bridge thinking the mirror humbles u , just turn back - and u will see the monkey posture with white topping - all flashing at you ( welcome Back!! )

ASS off!!
